Gabe Fajuri is widely regarded as an authority on the history of magic. An author, publisher and reviewer in the field, his publications and productions are legion. In 2008, Quirk Books released Mysterio’s Encyclopedia of Magic & Conjuring, a reference guide for budding magicians, authored by Fajuri. He has also written extensively on history and collecting, penning a volume on the life and career of Chautauqua and Lyceum magician Eugene Laurant (Laurant: Man of Many Mysteries), and Salon de Magie, about Ken Klosterman's legendary collection. His firm, Squash Publishing, has produced over ten titles on the history of conjuring.
Dozens of Fajuri’s features, essays and scholarly writings have appeared in over one dozen journals and publications, including Chicago Magazine, Magicol (the journal of the Magic Collectors’ Association), The Linking Ring, Genii, and many more. He also serves as associate editor of MAGIC Magazine. |

Sami has a strong background in the auction and collecting fields, having operated a wholesale auction firm specializing in philately and cartophily for over 15 years. Other areas of specialty include antiquarian books, tobacciana, antique photography, stone lithography, posters, maps, art and ephemera. His acquisition of various properties over the last 20 years have exposed him to collectors throughout the United States and Europe and have cemented his reputation as the person that will close a fair deal when the time comes to dispose of a collection. |
