Jaap Best assembled one of the largest archives of circus memorabilia in the world, his collection, including over 3,500 lithographs printed by the Adolph Friedlander's famous lithography house (based in Hamburg), is on display on this magnificent website, circusmuseum.nl.

The above image of Mac Norton (the human aquarium, who could swallow and regurgitate live frogs and goldfish in any order requested by the audience) is one of literally thousands on display in the virtual museum.
The permanent collection is housed in a museum in the city of Haarlem, The Netherlands.
