| Placing your bid is easy. There are several methods enabling you to participate in our auctions: |
Attend the Auction ― We strongly suggest that serious bidders attend one of our live events in person. In addition to participating directly on auction day, attending allows you to inspect any property you will bid on. |
Phone Bidding ― Once you have registered as a bidder with Potter & Potter in advance of an auction, you may arrange to bid live by telephone. Fill out and submit the absentee bidder form, indicating which lots you are interested in, and a staff member will call you during the auction so you may bid on them. Contact us for additional details. |
Absentee bids ― You may submit bids in advance of an auction by filling out and submitting a registration form and absentee bid form by Fax, email, snail mail, or telephone. Your bids are confidential, and your high bid will not be executed unless required by competitive bidding. In many instances, absentee bidders purchase items for amounts well below their high bids. |
Live Internet Bidding ― Conducted through our partner site, www.liveauctioneers.com, this option allows participants to bid in real time from a personal computer. Internet bidders may also place absentee bids through Liveauctioneers. The value of any absentee bid is not disclosed to Potter & Potter by Liveauctioneers. |
Agent Bids ― You may submit bids through your agent, provided that agent has registered with P & P and assumes liability for making payment on any successful bid. |
